The list of candidates for the upcoming August elections is growing. Incumbent DeKalb County Mayor Tim Stribling will be vying to keep his position, and his current opponent would be Bradley Hendrix, current county commissioner for the third district who has filed and had his petition verified. Former County Mayor Mike Foster also picked up a petition for mayor but must file it by Feb. 15.No Republican or Independent candidates have announced for county mayor.
