A Sunday evening collision with a utility pole left an entire family shaken, but apparently not seriously injured. According to Trooper Gerald Carter of the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 28-year-old Tosha L. Whitson was traveling east on Old Snow Hill Road near Possum Hollow Road when she lost control of her 2004 Chevy Tracker, skidded sideways, and left the roadway on the right side. The SUV struck a utility pole before coming to a stop.
