A sentencing hearing for former Upper Cumberland Development District (UCDD) Deputy Director Larry Webb was postponed until next month after a federal judge rejected a plea deal last week. Webb was indicted on various federal charges, including conspiracy, theft of government money, bank fraud, money laundering, and making a false statement along with former UCDD Director Wendy Askins in 2013. Askins pled guilty to two counts of theft from a federally-funded entity on Aug. 31.
