A convicted felon was reportedly found with a gun and drugs when officers with the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department went to serve an active warrant on her.

Charged is Patty Sue Tatrow, 42, of Smithville. She was reportedly found with several bags of marijuana, a small amount of meth, and a handgun, when officers went to arrest her Nov. 28.

DeKalb County Sheriff Patrick Ray says a search of Tatrow’s bedroom produced several bags that are believed to be marijuana. One bag weighed 8 ounces, while another weighed 6 grams.

A clear substance believed to be meth was found in Tatrow’s wallet. Also reportedly found were a joint, digital scale and a 22-caliber handgun.

Tatrow has been charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver and unlawful possession of a weapon since she is a convicted felon.

Tatrow has been in previous legal trouble in neighboring Warren County. She is scheduled for a Dec. 21 court appearance.
