A fire at Lakeside Resort last Tuesday afternoon completely destroyed two camper trailers and endangered two more.The campers, in which construction workers at Hurricane Bridge were staying, caught fire just after 3 p.m.No one was inside the campers when the fire broke out, and no one was injured in the blaze.A camper parked in a row near three other trailers on Relax Drive caught fire and the flames quickly spread to the trailer next door.Firefighters were able to save the other two nearby campers, which escaped the conflagration with a small amount of heat damage.The cause of the fire has not been determined.Members of the main fire station, the Short Mountain Highway station, and the Cookeville Highway station responded along with DeKalb EMS and Sheriff's Department and the the Tennessee Forestry Division responded to the call.Local Red Cross volunteers were on hand to arrange shelter and help with the victim’s other needs.
