Firefighters are shown entering the home of Jimmy Midgett on Vandergriff Hollow Road Thursday to battle a blaze that threatened the home. According to Captain Anthony Boyd of the DeKalb County Volunteer Fire Department, no one was home at the time of the incident. While the fire was contained in the kitchen area of the structure, the home suffered smoke and heat damage throughout.
