Kyshanna Beth Frazier, 34, of Alexandria was charged with criminal impersonation on March 31.
According to Sheriff Patrick Ray, Frazier and a male companion were found to be trespassing near a bridge on New Bildad Road. When a deputy spoke with Frazier, she allegedly identified herself Karissa Parker.
Ray said she also gave a false birth date and fake Social Security number. Ray said the bridge has been the site of trouble on several occasions, and that his department recently joined forces with a local neighborhood watch program to keep an eye on the area. Part of the initiative was the land owner’s posting of "No Trespassing" signs on the property.
Her bond was set at $1,500, and she will appear in court on April 9.
Meanwhile, 45-year-old Christopher Neal Patterson was charged with violation of an order of protection on March 23. The sheriff said that Patterson violated an active restraining order by being on the front porch of a Big Hickory Road residence on property that he had been ordered by the court to stay away from.
His bond was set at $2,500.
Brian Lee Carter, 35, of Dowelltown was charged with driving under the influence, a third offense of driving on a suspended license, and was cited for violation of the financial responsibility law (no insurance) and violation of the implied consent law (refusal to submit to a blood test) on April 3.
The sheriff said a deputy dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Possum Hollow Road in Dowelltown spoke with Carter, who had run off the roadway and struck a tree. Carter allegedly had a strong odor of alcohol coming from his person, his speech was slurred, and he was unsteady on his feet.
When asked if he had been drinking, Carter reportedly told the lawman that he had drank a few. Ray said the man performed poorly on field sobriety tasks, and a computer check revealed that his license was suspended for failure to show proof of insurance.
His bond was set at $4,000, and he will appear in court on April 16.
Joseph Hunter, 25, of Lebanon was charged with driving under the influence on March 28. Ray said a deputy observed the driver of a vehicle traveling eastbound on Highway 70 West failing to maintain his lane of travel. When the officer stopped the car and spoke with the driver, Hunter, he was found to have a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his person and bloodshot eyes.
After he reportedly performed poorly on field sobriety tasks, Hunter was placed under arrest. He submitted to a blood alcohol test.
His bond was set at $1,500 and he will appear in court on April 30.
Christopher Shannon Mooneyham, 35, was charged with driving on a revoked license, and cited for driving an unregistered vehicle and for misuse of registration on April 1.
Sheriff Ray said that a sheriff's department detective spotted Mooneyham driving a 1993 GMC pickup truck at the intersection of Green Acres Drive and Mountain Street. Knowing that Mooneyham had a revoked license, the detective stopped the vehicle. A computer check confirmed that Mooneyham's license had been revoked for a DUI in March 2009.
The plate on the truck reportedly came back as registered to a Honda belonging to another person. After checking the VIN number, the officer learned that the truck was not registered to Mooneyham but he had a signed title to the vehicle in his possession. He was arrested, and the pickup was seized. Mooneyham had reportedly been cited for the same driving on a revoked license offense on March 7 as well.
His bond was set at $2,500, and he will appear in court on April 30.
