Protesters didn’t seem to hurt the turnout for the Young Farmers and Ranchers frog-gig scholarship fundraiser Friday night. One hundred participants made up 32 teams at the event. The festivities raised over $1,000 for scholarships. The team of James Jones Clayton Jones, Cody Mackie and Caleb Mackie took the top prize of $375, weighing in at 9.63 pounds.

Second place went to the team of Jason Poss, Matthew Poss and Brayden Hart,who weighed in at 7.63pounds and won $225.

Winner of the third place prize, weighing in at 7.47 pounds and winning $150, was the team of John Poss and Corey Poss.
