Hamilton faces charges of crack and Hydrocodone for resale

Anthony Joe Hamilton, 31, was charged with two counts of possession of a schedule II drug and a schedule III drug for resale after he was allegedly found with crack cocaine and Hydrocodone pills on April 24.

 

According to Sheriff Patrick Ray, a sheriff's department detective pulled into the parking lot of Eastside Inn on Highway 70 East and approached Hamilton, who reportedly threw a white baggie with .4 grams of crack cocaine (two rocks) onto the ground. During a search, the detective found a cellophane pack in Hamilton’s pocket containing six 10-milligram Hydrocodone pills.

 

Also in Hamilton's pocket were two five-dollar bills and two twenty-dollar bills. His wallet reportedly contained $151 cash. He was placed under arrest and the money was seized.

 

His bonds total $40,000, and he will appear in court on June 4.

 

Meanwhile, 44-year-old Stephanie Renae Miller was charged with domestic assault on April 25.

 

The sheriff said 25 a deputy dispatched to Dale Ridge Road for a reported domestic assault spoke with Miller and her boyfriend, who had been in an argument. The man reportedly had injuries from an assault by Miller, including a bloody nose and small scratches on the left side of his face and left arm. Video surveillance allegedly showed the man trying to avoid her her as she attacked him. It was determined that Miller was the primary aggressor, and she was placed under arrest.

 

Her bond was set at $2,500, and she will appear in court on May 7.
