From bullseyes to chemistry labs, the swimming pool to the dining hall—Scouts in Smithville Troop 347 had a fun adventure at Boxwell Summer Camp. Seven scouts from DeKalb recently made the trek to Gallatin where they learned more about the great outdoors.

Zackary Cantrell worked on his merit badges for Archery, Fish & Wildlife Management, Swimming, and Geology & Nature. Gavin Conger studies Wilderness Survival, Swimming, Weather, and skills for his 1st Class Scout ranking. Carter Dias (Dee-az) learned about Wilderness Survival, Woodcarving, Fish & Wildlife Management, and Chemistry. Brandon Sobotka got a charge out of his Electricity merit badge, explored creepy crawly creature for Insect Study and Fish & Wildlife Management.  Arty Sullivan took merit badge classes in Swimming, American Heritage & American Culture, Emergency Preparedness, and Sports. Jade Wildes learned about First Aid, Woodcarving, Weather, Indian Lore, and Insect Study.  Kaleb Wildes aimed for the bullseye in Archery, and shaped up for Personal Fitness and Wilderness Survival.
