A Seven Springs woman has been awarded a scholarship to Bethel University. Tonya Hattaway, a Communications Operator 2 dispatcher for the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s Cookeville District has been selected for the $5,000 scholarship, which is offered to Department of Safety employees to encourage employees to continue their education Hattaway is working to earn a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She is already attending Bethel and is about halfway to her degree.
