A man with a fuzzy memory about how he came into possession of a stolen truck has been sentenced to two years in prison. The man, Shannon Ray Herman, 33, of Smithville entered a guilty plea in circuit court to the charge of theft of property over $1,000 and was directed to serve two years in the state penitentiary. The term is to run concurrently, meaning at the same time, with another DeKalb County sentence he is serving.
