Daniel Magness, 31, escaped serious injury in this crash last Wednesday on Dry Creek Road in Dowelltown. According to Trooper Sean Tramel of the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Magness was traveling toward Highway 70 on Dry Creek on his way from work when he lost control of his Chevrolet Silverado on the icy roadway. The truck left the roadway on the left side, overturned, and came to rest on its roof near the bottom of a steep hill. Magness was treated by DeKalb EMS for cuts and bruises at the scene.
