Thomas Bryan Malone, 37, of Lebanon was arrested on July 20 and charged with one count of theft of property under $500 and eight counts of fraudulent use of credit card
According to Sheriff Patrick Ray, Malone allegedly took a visa card form the owner without permission on July 4.
He reportedly then used the card on July 4 at a Citgo station in the amount of one dollar, then for $13.72. On July 5 the card was used at Opry Mills Factory Nike Outlet in the amount of $240.28, at a Coca-Cola vending machine for one dollar, at a Zips convenience mart for $34.83, at a McDonalds for $28, at a Lids store for $60.06, and at a Finish Line convenience market for $103.78.
His bond on those charges totals $22,500, and he will appear in court on Aug. 11.
Malone was then charged with vandalism on July 23. Ray said that while incarcerated at the jail on July 22 he was observed by jail staff standing on a bed and striking a camera with his fist.
His bond on that charge was set at $2,500, and he will appear in court on Aug. 18.
Meanwhile, 33-year-old Jennifer Lynn Bullard was arrested on July 22 and charged with theft of property under $500 and seven counts of fraudulent use of a credit card.
Bullard allegedly took an SSI debit card from another person without consent on Dec. 17.
The sheriff said that Bullard used the card on Dec. 17 at an ATM in Smithville for $203.50, and at a Sunoco station for $7.96. On Dec. 18 she allegedly used the card to get $23.50 from an ATM in Smithville, $203.50 from an ATM, $182.44 at Walmart and $17.24 at an ATM, then on Dec. 31 for $210.75 at an ATM.
Her bond totals $12,000, and she will appear in court on July 28.
Scott Tyler Faulkner, 37, of Nashville was charged introduction of contraband into a penal institution on July 20.
Faulkner reportedly came to the sheriff’s department to visit an inmate. Ray said that while being checked in at the front desk, he asked to use the bathroom. He was stopped in the hallway by the jail sergeant for a random search. The sergeant allegedly asked Faulkner if he would find anything in his pockets. Faulkner reportedly said yes, that he had tobacco and Tylenol. A package wrapped with black tape and containing loose tobacco, rolling papers, a lighter, one Suboxone strip, 45 round red pills believed to be Acetaminophen and three white oval pills believed to be Tizanidine was allegedly recovered from his pants pocket.
His bond was set at $5,000, and he will appear in court on Aug. 11.
Justin Dwayne Spann, 27, of Dixon was charged with theft of property over $1,000 on July 24.
Ray said Spann took a Carter utility trailer from a home on Sparta Highway without the owner’s consent on Nov. 4 2015. The trailer was valued at over $1,000
His bond was set at $5,000, and he will appear in court on July 28.
Byron Shone Henry, 19, of Cassville was arrested on July 22 and charged with underage driving while impaired.
Ray said a deputy dispatched to Hunt Hollow Road to check out reports of a man in a white car making threats at New Frontiers boys home made contact with the vehicle pulling out of the boys home. The officer stopped the car and found Henry to be the driver.
He allegedly had a strong odor of alcohol on his person, and was unsteady on his feet with bloodshot eyes. He reportedly submitted to, but performed poorly on, field sobriety tasks.
His bond was set at $2,500, and he will appear in court on Aug. 18.
David Everett Phillips, 45, was cited on July 19 for not wearing a seat belt, lack of insurance, and driving on a suspended license.
Ray said a deputy saw Phillips driving on Highway 56 South without his seat belt on. After being pulled over, Phillips allegedly told the officer that he did not have insurance on the vehicle, but a computer check revealed that his license was suspended.
He will appear in court on Aug. 10.
