The Smithville Police Department placed a 19-year-old man under arrest Wednesday afternoon after finding him on the property of Smithville Elementary School with an air-soft gun.Cody Daniel Harchenko faces charges of displaying a weapon on public property. The story began Wednesday morning when an SES student reported seeing someone near school property wearing dark clothing possibly and carrying a gun. The school was placed on lock-down for a brief period after the report, but no such person was found.
