A Bowling Green man, who was arrested by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s office for a stolen handgun Friday, was later charged and arrested for murder in Kentucky. According to DeKalb County Sheriff Patrick Ray, a deputy responded to a call of suspicious male at Edgar Evins Marina just after noon Friday and found the man, later identified as Justin Alan Denihan, 23, on foot and transported him to his vehicle which was parked on Dale Ridge Road. Upon arrival, the officer noticed a handgun lying in the front seat of the truck, and a computer check revealed the 22 caliber Jimenez Arms Inc. weapon was in fact stolen from Davidson County.
