Alexandria police have arrested a 54-year-old Antioch man and charged him with six counts of sexual battery, one count of sexual battery of a minor and one count of furnishing alcohol to a minor.
According to Alexandria Police Chief Mark Collins, Sobhy Eskandar, an employee at the Alexandria Discount Beer and Tobacco Store was arrested on March 23.
Eskandar apparently became the subject of an investigation after authorities received several complaints from female customers that he had touched them inappropriately while they were in the store.
Collins said one of the complaints involved a minor, who Eskandar allegedly provided with beer.
The chief said more charges are expected in the case.
Eskandar’s bonds total $192,500.
