Surviving the Storm is an entertaining live event where Channel 4 News viewers can meet their favorite meteorologists and learn about severe weather and how to prepare for it.Area residents will be able to join the Channel 4 weather team as they travel to DeKalb County to present Surviving the Storm tomorrow at the new county complex.Surviving the Storm is a live event where you learn the "what, why and how" of severe thunderstorms and learn what you can do to be safe.Lisa Spencer, Dan Thomas, Paul Heggen, Nancy Van Camp and Snowbird will take the stage with a multimedia show that will help you get ready for the next time the weather gets bad.According to Spencer, there will be a free Snowbird goodie for the first 50 people through the door.There will also be dramatic video, awesome pictures, experiments, games, a few laughs and great door prizes.The family-friendly show is free, and will begin at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
