Monday night’s rain likely contributed to this one-vehicle accident on Short Mountain Highway. An unidentified male minor apparently lost control of this Honda just after 6:30 p.m., leaving the roadway and striking a utility pole before overturning and coming to rest on its top in the ditchline. The driver was transported to DeKalb Community Hospital by DeKalb EMS with non life-threatening injuries.
