A total of 1,549 DeKalb Countians have taken advantage of early voting. After nine days of early voting for the Aug. 7 elections, 1,448 people had voted in person and 101 had cast absentee ballots as of Monday.

A total of 574 cast ballots in the Tennessee Republican Primary, 457 voted in the Tennessee Democratic Primary, and 518 voted only in the DeKalb County General Election without voting in a primary.

Early voting continues through Aug. 2 in the first floor courtroom of the courthouse. The hours are as follows:

Monday: 1-6 p.m.

Tuesday: 9 am. -1 p.m.

Wednesday: 9 a.m. -1 p.m.

Thursday: 2-6p.m.

Friday: 9.a.m. -1 p.m.

Saturday: 9 a.m. -noon
