DeKalb County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call of an unresponsive female at Sligo Marina at Pier B early Sunday morning at 7:49 a.m. According to DeKalb County Sheriff Patrick Ray, upon arrival, they discovered the woman was found by her husband in an adjoining slip, and was identified as Jerilyn Massey Lamb, 59, of Murfreesboro. Deputies arrived on the scene at 8:03 a.m. and DeKalb County Detectives were also summoned to the scene.The DeKalb Sheriff’s Department was assisted in the investigation by members of the 13th Judicial District Attorney General’s Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Mrs. Lamb’s body has been sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
