A man faces a host of charges after he tried to outrun the law, leading them on a car chase before leaping out of his vehicle in a last ditch attempt to get away. The man, Willy ray Murphy, 36, is charged with felony evading arrest, resisting arrest, possession of methamphetamine and driving on a revoked license. The chase began after a police officer saw him behind the wheel and knew he did not have a license and that there were outstanding warrants for his arrest.
