No bids on DCHS house
howse w L

The DCHS Construction Technology program has still had no luck selling the house built by students last year.
The home, a 1456 square foot (dried-in) house with three bedrooms, two full bathrooms with shower units, a living room, kitchen, utility room and three walk-in closets, first went up for bids in May 2013. The minimum bid was set at $17,100.
The 26' x 56' structure was constructed on the DCHS campus, and has a 25-year three-tab shingled roof. Plumbing and electricity must be insalled by the buyer, who will also be responsible for moving the home.
The buyer must remove the building from school property within 30 days or pay a penalty of $100 a day.
The school system plans to advertise for bids again to try and sell the building.
