Omega goes pink for breast cancer awareness

Omega Apparel pinked out for breast cancer awareness Wednesday, with almost 150 team members dressing in pink to help in the quest for a cure.

According to HR Manager Michelle Brawley, the team will be raising money for research all week.

“Our Omega Apparel team mates have dressed in pink to promote breast cancer awareness today. We actually have two survivors with us today, Karen Whitman and Judy Blaylock. We are raising money, donated by our team mates, we will be doing that all week.”

Brawley said that the event, held at Omega for the last four years, has become an annual affair.

“We had a very good turnout. It’s our fourth year doing this, and we look forward to it every year.”
