One person was airlifted while a mother and several children escaped injury in a collision on Nashville Highway Monday morning that say one of the vehicles crash down a steep embankment. The wreck remains under investigation by the Tennessee Highway Patrol. It happened around 10:30 p.m. on Highway 70 near Dowelltown and involved two vehicles, one of which suffered heavy rear-ended damage, the other rolling over a 100 yards down a steep embankment.
