A woman who couldn’t first recall if she had a single beer or several of them has been granted probation.The woman, Melody Ann Thomas, 57, entered a guilty plea to the charge of reckless endangerment and was issued an 11-month, 29-day probationary sentence by the court. Thomas was pulled over by a deputy after he spotted her Nissan weaving as he responded to a reckless driving call on Short Mountain Highway. “He made a traffic stop and talked with the driver,” said Sheriff Patrick Ray.
