A 52-year-old Wilson County woman was injured in a collision at Atnip Street and West Broad Friday. According to the Smithville Police Department, Cynthia D. Carter, 33, was attempting to turn left from Atnip Street onto West Broad in a 1999 Dodge Durango when she pulled into the path of a 2005 Mercedes driven by Tina Marie Roberts of Lebanon, who was traveling west on West Broad Street. Roberts was the sole occupant of the Mercedes, while Carter's Dodge also carried a five-year-old passenger.
