Judith Peek-Lee has been named Market Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Capella-Saint Thomas’ Upper Cumberland health system, which includes River Park Hospital (RPH) in McMinnville, Highlands Medical Center (HMC) in Sparta, DeKalb Community Hospital (DCH) in Smithville, and Stones River Hospital(SRH) in Woodbury.
The new position will provide financial operations leadership to the system and will be a strategic partner with each of the hospital CEOs, according to Mark Medley, president of hospital operations for Capella Healthcare.
The position, which Peek-Lee assumed on Oct. 29, is based at River Park Hospital.
Peek-Lee will work closely with Alan Phelps, CFO for RPH, and Alan Sharp, Controller for DCH, HMC and SRH.
Peek-Lee comes to Capella from HCA-Physician Services where she has been serving as group director of finance since 2008.
Prior to that, she served as CFO at a number of hospitals, including Nashville General Hospital, Henderson Hospital in Lexington, and Western State Hospital System in Hopkinsville, Ky.
She also worked as an Auditor for the Kentucky Revenue Cabinet.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Murray State University in Murray, Ky.
Peek-Lee and her husband Eric Lee have two daughters.
