William Oscar Meadows, 45, of New Home Road was arrested for DUI, possession of weapon while DUI and cited for expired tags and failure to maintain lane of travel. Police responded to Allen’s Ferry Road in reference to a motor vehicle accident. The officer noticed Meadows to be unsteady on his feet, slurred speech and confused. EMS was called and Meadows refused treatment at which time he was asked and consent to field sobriety tasks. Meadows performed unsatisfactory and was placed under arrest without incident. During the accident investigation it was found that he was in possession of a 9mm pistol that he had attempted to hide within the wreckage. A warrant was obtained for a BA test to be conducted.

Amber Lynn Matchett, 39, of Cill Street was cited for simple possession or casual exchange.  Matchett was observed exchanging money for half a pill believed to be suboxone. The officer pulled Matchett over and asked her about the exchange and she pulled the half pill out of her bra and indicated that she did buy it from a co-worker/friend. 

Thomas D Thomason, 50, of South College Street was arrested for domestic assault. A deputy observed Thomason physically push the victim while they were walking down West Broad close to Wal-Mart.  An officer arrived on scene and spoke with the victim who confirmed the incident and Thomason was taken into custody without incident. 

Daniel Wilson, 34, of Yulanda Hills Road, was cited for theft of merchandise and criminal trespass.  Wilson took cookware sets from Wal-Mart without paying for the merchandise and he had previously been informed on Nov. 24, 2011 to not be on Wal-Mart property. 

Jarrett Lee Manning, 34, of Forrest Ave was arrested for domestic assault. Manning was seen on the side of the roadway in front of Mark’s Body Shop on Miller Road in a physical altercation with the victim.  An off duty deputy was traveling on Miller Road when this was occurring and got out of his vehicle and stopped the incident but Manning jumped into his vehicle and drove to his residence.  The deputy informed the officer that Manning had the victim by the collar of her hoodie and was attempting to drag her into his truck.  The victim had a small cut with slight bleeding on her chin. 

Jackie Blake Sanders, 34, of 633 Restview Avenue was cited for shoplifting.  A Wal-Mart employee observed Sanders open a package containing a Zippo lighter and put it in his pocket then leave the store.  After stopping Sanders they found other empty packages where he was standing.  The officer asked him if he had anything else on him and he produced a large knife from inside his pants that he had not purchased. 

Jennifer Lynn Bullard, 34, of West Walnut Street was arrested for domestic assault. The victim had obtained an order of protection ex parte against Bullard and when she discovered it she struck the victim in the face causing him to bleed above his right eye.
