Police saved a man from being run over as he was dancing in the street, later charging him with disorderly conduct for his hazardous selection of dance floors.The man, Nathan Joseph Wilbert, 38, is charged with disorderly conduct and resisting stop. He will go to court Aug. 9 to answer to the charges.The incident began when Smithville police started receiving calls about a man dancing in the road and yelling at passing cars on West Broad Street. Upon arrival; however, police discovered it wasn’t a happy dance Wilbert was doing.“He was angry and belligerent and throwing his arms up in the air,” the police report reads.Officers tried to get him out of traffic but saw a sharp black object in his hands.
