The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of DeKalb County will be held Friday, May 5, Greenbrook Park in Smithville from 6-12 p.m. Local volunteers and participants will celebrate cancer survivors, remember those lost to the disease, and take action to save more lives from cancer. The opening ceremony, which includes a special Survivors Lap, will begin at 6 p.m. A silent auction, entertainment, great food, a train ride and activities will take place throughout the night.
