According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Claudia Owens of McMinnville, 63, was injured when she lost control of her 94 Buick and overturned on Highway 56 South near the Warren County line Friday afternoon. Owens had to be extricated from the vehicle by the DeKalb Volunteer Fire Department, and was transported by DeKalb EMS to Riverpark Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Members of the DeKalb county Sheriff’s Department also assisted at the scene.
