Saint Thomas Health has named Michelle Robertson as Chief Operating Officer, a part of the dyad leadership structure, with Greg James, MD, Chief Clinical Officer, effective October 16. Saint Thomas Health is part of Ascension, the nation’s largest Catholic and non-profit health system.
Prior to joining Saint Thomas, Robertson served as Chief Executive Officer of Seton Family of Hospitals and Chief Operating Officer of Ascension Texas. Robertson has been an Ascension associate for 27 years.

Robertson graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and from the University of Colorado with a Master’s of Business Administration. She has been licensed as a registered nurse since 1989 and began her practice in Austin as a pediatric nurse at the Children’s Hospital of Austin.
Additionally, Robertson is a member of the YMCA of Williamson County Board, the Lonestar Circle of Care FQHC Board, the American Heart Association Board and the Southwestern University Board of Visitors.
