beecham house w L

The body of a 55-year-old man, said to be  Raymond “Red” Beecham was found early Tuesday afternoon in his Tommy Harrell Street home by a neighbor who regularly did wellness checks on the victim.
The neighbor told the Review that she last talked with Beecham on Monday night at 9:30 p.m. at which time she left his residence and returned to her mother’s house.
“He locked the door behind me,” she said. “I came to check on him this afternoon and found him like this.
“Whoever it was, he had to know them to let them in.”
Unclear of specifically what type of wound Beecham died from, the witness said she saw blood on his shirt but did not raise it to look. At that point is when she ran to her mother’s house and called 911.
Another body,  of unknown gender, reportedly was found behind the Beecham home buried in a wood pile.
Police Chief Randy Caplinger said that his department is conducting a full investigation of the case. More details will be forthcoming.
