A drunk driver who tried to pass himself off as a witness to his own crash has been charged with making a false report to officers. The driver, Charles Riedley, 30, was charged with DUI and filing a false report for an incident that happened on Nashville Highway in front of Twisted Oaks Saloon. According to the sheriff’s report, when deputies arrived they found Riedley standing near the wrecked BMW and questioned him.
