Jamboree set-up was interrupted Thursday evening by windstorms that took down trees and power lines in some parts of the county.Many locals were without power for several hours.Violent winds damaged some tents and booths around the courthouse square being set up in preparation for the Jamboree.A tree fell on a home on Petty Road, and another fallen tree brought down utility lines and stopped traffic near Sligo Bridge.Damage from fallen trees and limbs was also reported on V.L. Wilson Loop Road off Holmes Creek, on Bright Hill Road, and at Wolf Creek.Luckily only minor injuries were reported.
