A total of 54 DCHS seniors recieved scholarships Monday night. The largest single scholarship went to Mallory Sullivan who was awarded $115,000 from Belmont University to play Golf. Over $650,000 in scholarships were presented. The remaining recipients included Crystal Vickers, who took home $1,000 from Comcast, $500 from the DCHS Beta Scholarship, $200 from the DCHS Student Council, the DTC McAllen Foutch Memorial for $8,000, $200 from FCCLA, $1,000 from Jolly Angels, $2,000 for the Lucille Stewart Memorial, $500 from the Young Farmers' Association, and $1,000 from Scottish Rite.
Kelsey Evins was awarded the $500 DCHS Beta Scholarship, $500 from the DCHS Literature Club, $500 from DeKalb Funeral Chapel $40,380 from Vanderbilt University, the $24,000 Ned McWherter award and the Smithville Rotary Math Award for $100.
Ashley Barnes took the Brandon Elder Scholarship for $4,000, the Clyde Thomas Family Trust Scholarship, for $500, $38,000 from Harding University, and $20,000 from Tennessee Tech University.
Jordan Wilkins took the $200 DCHS Student Council award, the $500 Alan Hooper Memorial and the Leadership DeKalb award.
Kaylnn Thompson won a $250 scholarship from AMVETS, $250 from the Amvets Auxilary, and took the Brandon Elder Scholarship of $2,000.
Arizona State University awarded Dylan Young $28,000, and he received the $1,000 Dailey & Vincent Scholarship.
Kaleb Ferrell was awarded $500 from the Class of 1996, $650 from the Class of 2004, $100 for the Smithville Rotary Vocational Award, $500 from DeKalb Funeral Chapel and $2,000 from Jolly Angels.
Sarah Edwards got $500 for the Clay Edwards Memorial Tiger Pride Scholarship and the $500 Eddie Crips Memorial Scholarship.
The $250 DeKalb PTO scholarship went to Elizabeth Mason, as well as $750 from DeKalb Retired Teachers Association.
CRMC & Pepsi awarded Chelsey Brannon $1,000, and she received the $1,000 David Wayne Alexander Memorial.
The $1,000 Kyle & Kenny Robinson Memorial went to Travis Ferrell, as well as the $5,000 Mentors Association Scholarship.
Eli Lomas received $2,200 from the CIC Foundation, $500 from DeKalb Community Hospital, and the US Army Athlete Award.
Central High School Alumni awarded $5,000 to McKenzi Poteete, and she received the US Marines Athlete Award and the $1,000 Nell Haas Driver Scholarship.
Laura Reed received $750 from the Smithville Rotary Club, $8,000 from Tennessee Tech University, and $50 from Woodmen of the World
Courtney Rice got $500 from the DCHS Literature Club, $1,000 for the Kyle & Kenny Robinson Memorial, and $30,280 from UT Knoxville.
Conner Giddens received $500 from the Young Farmers' Association, $500 from DeKalb Soil Conservation District, and $12,000 from MTSU.
The US Marines Scholar Award went to Lauren Lewis, who also recieved $500 from the Smithville Business and Professional Women and $1,000 from Jolly Angels.
Alli Emme recieved $1,000 from Liberty State Bank, $500 from Smithville Women’s Club and $500 from Love-Cantrell Funeral Home.
Samanth Sircy received $2,000 from Jolly Angels and $750 from Smithville Rotary Club.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel awarded Shauna Taylor with $500, and she recieved $500 from DeKalb Physicians as well.
Lauren Colwell received $40,030 from Trevecca Nazarene and $750 from Smithville Rotary Club.
Danielle Tyson got $4,000 from Jolly Angels and $23,500 from Trevecca Nazarene.
Kelsey MacDonald received $1,500 from Agee Oil, the $500 Clyde Thomas Family Trust Scholarship went to Gatlin Doughtery, and the $1,000 Dailey & Vincent Scholarship went to Brittany Merriman.
Ethan Roller took the $1,000 David Wayne Alexander Memorial, DeKalb County, Childrens Service Council presented Briana Cutliff with $500, and DeKalb Childrens Service Council gave Taylor Cantrell $500.
DeKalb Fire Fighters presented James Cantrell with $500. DeKalb Funeral Chapel awarded $500 to Alexis Cornelius and $500 to Katleyn Jones.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel also gave Taylor Youngblood and Erika Brown a $500 scholarship.
Hannah Ball received $250 from DeKalb PTO, the $500 Elzie & Nell McBride Memorial went to Zachary Bandy $500, and Hunter Eckert got a $32,500 scholarship from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University
First Bank gave Laura Reed $500, Fortis Institute gave Magan Johnson $9,000, and the Franternal Order of Police gave Hannah Cantrell $500.
The Fraternal Order of Police gave Nicholas Johnson $500, Jolly Angels awarded Elizabeth Mason with $1,000 and Kaylee Hale with $2,000.
Eli Gill won the Leadership DeKalb award, and Love-Cantrell Funeral Home gave Ashley Medlin and Kelsi Glenn $500 each.
The $5,000 Mentors Association Scholarship went to Josh Davidson, MTSU presented Alex Turner with $500, and Kayna Caplinger with $8,000
Smithville Business and Professional Women awarded Erika Brown with $500, the Smithville Rotary Club gave Taylor Cantrell $750, and Tennessee Tech University awarded Elizabeth Mason with $15,000
TTU also presented Emily Snow with $4,000, Hannah Ball with $4,000, Justin Wiser with $800, and Peter Antoniak with $20,000.
Chelsey Brannon got $58,000 from Tennessee Wesleyan, Hudson Beltz was given $40,000 for Army enlistment, and Hannah Cantrell took the US Marine Semper Fidelis award.
The US Marines Athlete Award went to Dillon Williams, and the US Marines Scholar Award went to Cameron Rhea.
The $2,000 Nelda Barnes Memorial went to Morgan Clark, and the $500 Anthony Duane Trapp Memorial went to Lauren Colwell.
