Congressional candidate and political novice John Rose received the most financial support of any candidate running for the U.S. House of Representatives in Tennessee, including incumbents, in the campaign’s first quarter of fundraising. With over $468,000 on hand,
Rose has more than four times the resources of his closest competitor in the race for Tennessee’s open 6th District seat.
“I am honored to have such meaningful support from within the district. This puts the campaign on a strong path to victory,” Rose said.
Rose exceeded $290,000 in contributions for his campaign for Tennessee’s 6th Congressional district in less than two months. Contributions came from all 19 counties within the district. 97% of funds raised came from within Tennessee with the remaining 3% coming from individuals with ties to the district.
“The 6th district knows we need conservative leadership in Washington D.C. and I am ready to be that leader. We need more Tennessee in Washington and less Washington in Tennessee. The federal government has grown too large and it’s time we give more power back to the people. As a political outsider, who has never run for office, I can bring bold action to an institution that is mired in gridlock and ineffectiveness,” Rose continued.
Rose is a conservative Republican, small business owner, farmer, staunch supporter of the 2nd amendment, and 100% pro-life. He is an eighth generation Tennessean who has spent his life in the district working to improve and contribute to his community. Rose is seeking the Republican nomination for Tennessee’s 6th Congressional District, a seat left open by Diane Black who is running for Governor.
