Tatrow honored for five-year service

Sergeant Brad C. Tatrow of the Smithville Police Department was honored with a certificate of achievement in recognition of five years of dedicated service to the Smithville Police Department last week. Tatrow’s career with the department began as a patrol officer. He served as the department's K-9 handler for three years and was then promoted to sergeant. He currently serves as a night shift supervisor. He has received the department's commendations for several narcotics arrests. Presenting the award from left are Police Commissioner Shawn Jacobs, Police Chief Randy Caplinger, Tatrow, and Mayor Taft Hendrixson.
