A new member has been elected to the DeKalb Telephone Cooperative board of directors. Jean Chumbley Ferrell defeated incumbent Greg Rogers from the Woodbury Exchange during the annual membership meeting held at the fairgrounds in Alexandria Saturday. Two other incumbent members, Charles Dwight Vinson of the Milton Exchange and Terry McPeak of the Norene Exchange ran unopposed.
