A routine traffic stop resulted in the apprehension of a wanted fugitive in DeKalb County on March 20.
According to Sheriff Patrick Ray, Gregory Scott Larue, 51, of Clarkrange was stopped for a traffic violation by the Tennessee Highway Patrol. A National Criminal Information Center (NCIC) check allegedly revealed that Larue had warrants from Catoosa, Georgia. Ray said Catoosa authorities said they will seek extradition on the charges.
