An investigation into the vending-machine break ins by Alexandria police has resulted in the arrest of two people.
Killian Ellis, 20, and 36-year-old Martha Silcox were charged with four counts of vandalism and four counts of theft under $500 for allegedly vandalizing and stealing the money from vending machines..
Alexandria Police said the case, investigated by Sergeant Chris Russell and sheriff’s department detectives, involved several vending machine robberies, in which the machines were damaged and looted. The thefts reportedly occurred over a period of a couple of months,
Bond for both suspects was set at $30,000, and they will appear in General Sessions Court on Jan. 16.
