The sheriff’s department has picked up two men indicted by the grand jury on rape charges. Michal Lee Bailey, Sr., 47, of Dowelltown faces a rape indictment, and 19-year-old Jacory Watson Vaden of Gordonsville was indicted for statutory rape. Bailey’s indictment alleges that on or about the second day of July, 2017 in DeKalb County, Bailey did intentionally, and or knowingly engage in unlawful sexual penetration of an 18-year-old girl without her consent, constituting the offense of rape.
