SmithvilleReview/Angie Meadows A two-car collision in the Walmart driveway injured two people Friday. City police said that a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Brian Bowman, 26, of Smithville was traveling from West Broad Street toward Walmart when he turned left into the path of an oncoming Chevy S-10 driven by 25-year-old Barrett Holubek. While both men were injured in the incident, and Bowman was transported to Saint Thomas DeKalb Hospital by DeKalb EMS. The accident was investigated by Patrolman Andy Snow of the Smithville Police Department, and members of the Smithville Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
