As reported last week, thirty three people were named in sealed indictments handed down by a special called session of the DeKalb County Grand Jury on Aug. 19. All but one of the indictments were the result of a lengthy investigation into illegal drug sales and other crimes by the sheriff's department.
Twenty six of those indicted had been taken into custody when the Review went ot press last week.
Since then, two more people have been reported taken into custody in connection with the indictments.
•Sharon Roseann Barnwell, 36, of Sparta - arrested Aug. 28 for sale and delivery of a Schedule II drug (Dilaudid). Her bond is $50,000.
•Andrew Wesley Wilbert, 35, of Dowelltown - arrested on Aug. 30 for sale and delivery of a schedule II drug (Roxycodone). His bond is $30,000.
All those indicted will appear in DeKalb County Criminal Court for arraignment on Sept.16 at 9 a.m.
