This past weekend a total of 12 Tennessee Wildlife Resource officers participated in the kick-off of Operation Dry Water, spending 96 hours conducting check points and saturation points on the lake. There were185 boats contacted resulting in three BUI (boating under the influence) arrests which included Charles West, John Harper and Kendrick Little. Along with those arrests, 12 boating citations were written and 14 boating safety warnings were given.Operation Dry Water is held on a weekend near the July 4th holiday to give BUI enforcement high visibility during the peak boating season.
