Undercover drug sting yields multiple charges

A total of 56 people were indicted by  the DeKalb County Grand Jury last week.
Twelve sealed indictments were returned.
An undercover drug sting conducted by the Smithville Police Department resulted in five of those.
City police say that 41-year-old Randy Caldwell, 24-year-old Ben Pascal, 45-year-old Teresa Beasley and 41-year-old Timothy Lawson have all been served with the indictments, with one other person remaining to serve at press time.
The operations were conducted by Detectives Matt Holmes and Brandon Donnell.
A confidential informant made the drug buys.
Lawson is charged with three counts of sale and delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance in a drug-free school zone.
The indictments against him allege that Lawson sold and delivered morphine on July 27, Aug. 4, and Aug. 23.
The alleged drug buys took place at the City Walk Apartments, located near Smithville Elementary School.
Caldwell is charged with two counts of sale and delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance.
Police allege Caldwell sold and delivered Hydromorphone, a Schedule II controlled substance, on Aug. 18 and 19.
Pascal is charged with sale and delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance.
He was indicted for allegedly selling and delivering Dilaudid, a Schedule II controlled substance, on Aug. 25.
Beasley is also charged with sale and delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance.
Her indictment alleges that she sold and delivered Hydromorphone, a Schedule II drug, on Aug. 26.
In other grand jury news, 47-year-old Steven Dale Osment of Woodbury was named in a sealed indictment on a charge of hindering a secured creditor.
His bond is set at $10,000.
Amy Rachel Vanatta, 40, and 39-year-old Michael Shane Wilcher, both of McMinnville, were co-indicted on a charge of unlawful photographing (of an adult).
Bond for each is $10,000.
David Anderson, Travis Rich, Jessica Bogle, Amy Ford, and Tammy Jones were co-indicted on charges of initiation of a process intended to manufacture methamphetamines, manufacture of meth, promotion of meth, and criminal trespassing.
Randy Caldwell was charged under a sealed indictment for two counts of sale and delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance.
Jessie Robert Adcock was indicted on charges of auto burglary and theft over $1,000
Shannon Anderson was indicted for aggravated burglary and theft over $1,000.
Dickie Bain faces charges of theft under $500 (two counts).
Dickie Ray Bain and Mark Goodson were indicted on charges of theft over $1,000 and filing a false report.
Teresa Beasley was named in a sealed indictment on charges of sale and delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance.
Steven Darrell Bly was named on charges of aggravated burglary and violation of an order of protection.
William H. Bogle, Jr. faces charges on two counts of harassment.
Kevin Brooks was indicted for theft over $1,000.
Chasity Carter faces charges of theft under $500.
Anna Faye Colburn was indicted for possession of Schedule II, III, and VI controlled substances, possession of paraphernalia, driving under the influence, and violation of the implied consent law.
Terry Collins was charged with theft over $1,000.
Tammy Currie was indicted on four counts of aggravated burglary and four counts of theft under $500.
William Corey Dickens faces charges on two counts of theft over $1,000.
David Dixon was indicted on possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance and violation of an order of protection charges.
Jessica Dyal faces charges of theft under $500.
Amy P. Ford was indicted for possession of a Schedule III controlled substance.
James Goodman faces charges of Manufacturing Methamphetamine.
Tiffany Greer was indicted for Aggravated burglary and theft over $1,000.
Shaun Hill is charged with aggravated burglary (3 charges), theft over $1,000 (3 charges) and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance.
Jill Marie Jones was indicted on Prescription Fraud charges (2 counts).
Terry Wayne Knowles faces charges of riving on a suspended license.
Roxanna Landis was indicted for possession of paraphernalia and public intoxication.
Robert Justin Luna was charged with initiation of a process to manufacture methamphetamine.
Wanda Carol Mathis was indicted on charges of sale and delivery of a schedule II controlled substance.
Daniel Lee Mayo was indicted for possession of a Schedule II controlled substance for resale, driving under the influence, and violation of the implied consent law.
Coty McCormick faces an indictment for aggravated assault.
Melinda Murphy was charged with theft under $500 and fraudulent use of a credit card.
Steven Osment (sealed indictment)- Hindering a secured creditor.
Ben Pascal (sealed indictment)- Sale and delivery of a schedule II controlled substance.
Lisa Porterfield was indicted for hindering a secured creditor.
Richard Raby faces charges of  Burglary (2 counts) and theft over $1,000.
Danny Lee Smithson was indicted for driving on a revoked license (fourth offense).
Terry Ray Story faces domestic assault charges.
Bradley Shane Redmon was indicted for assault.
William Ray Roller, Jr and Kathy Ann Roller were jointly charged with promotion of methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance for resale, possession of a Schedule III controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.
David Anthony Taylor was indicted on charges of driving under the influence, violation of the implied consent law, driving on a suspended license, assault and indecent exposure
Michael Glen Thomas was charged with driving under the influence.
Matthew Wilbur is under indictment  on charges of sale and delivery of a Schedule VI controlled substance, possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance for resale, and possession of paraphernalia.
Paul Willingham faces charges of aggravated burglary and theft over $1,000.
Kenneth Adam Wright was indicted for driving under the influence (2nd offense) and Violation of the implied consent law.
All those indicted by the grand jury will appear for arraignment in DeKalb County Criminal Court on Dec. 12 at 9 a.m.
