A Gordonsville teen has been granted probation after entering a guilty plea to a lesser charge after being accused of inappropriate contact with a 14-year-old girl. The teen, Jacory Watson Vaden entered a guilty plea in DeKalb County Circuit Court Friday to the lesser charge of attempted statutory rape and was granted an 11-month, 29-day judicial diversion. The diversion means his criminal record can be erased once he completes his probation.
