The local Fred’s Pharmacy is closing on February 21 and all prescription records will be transferred to Walmart.

In a recent letter to Fred’s customers, Walmart announced the closing of Fred’s and that records would be available at Walmart Pharmacy located at 515 West Broad Street, Smithville.  

It also announced to Fred’s customers that when it was time to refill prescriptions, simply stop by or call the Walmart Pharmacy and they would be happy to assist.

The letter continued to say that Walmart looks forward to providing all future prescription needs, and that they are committed to making the transition smooth and are available to answer any questions. The pharmacy number id 615-215-7580.
