Sommer Roark, 19, was airlifted to Vanderbilt Medical Center after crashing her 1995 Chevrolet Camaro on New Home Road Thursday morning. According to Trooper Bobby Johnson of the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Roark was traveling north when she lost control of the vehicle while trying to negotiate a curve. The Camaro left the road on the left side, striking at least three trees and a mailbox before it came to rest on its wheels in a ditch.
